WHAT IS CBD?
Cannabidiol, commonly referred to as “CBD,” is derived from hemp (Cannabis sativa L.),
and was discovered in 1940.
Cannabidiol commonly known as CBD is one of many active components found in the _Cannabis_ (marijuana) plant. The most popular compound of the Cannabis plant is Delta-9 Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) well-known for its psychoactive properties that provides the “high” effect.
CBD is non-psychoactive and provides a number of the same medical benefits as THC. This allows you to take advantage of the therapeutical benefits without leaving you with the “spaced-out” feeling that is frequently coupled with THC.
